1. Introduction

Welcome to HajriBook ("we", "our", or "us"). HajriBook is a worker attendance and cashbook management app for contractors, site supervisors, and small business owners in India.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using HajriBook, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information – Name and email from Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple
• Profile photo – Optional photo you upload (stored in Firebase Storage)
• Worker data – Names, phone numbers, wage rates, salary type, and related records you enter
• Attendance records – Present, absent, half-day, overtime, holiday, and related marks
• Financial records – Cashbook entries, advances, penalties, and settlements
• Contacts (optional) – Used only to help you pick a worker from your phonebook; not uploaded or stored on our servers
• Device preferences – Language, theme, and app-lock settings stored on your device

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate HajriBook
• Authenticate you via Google or Apple
• Store and sync your data with Firebase Firestore
• Generate attendance, salary, and cash reports
• Process Pro subscriptions via Apple App Store / Google Play (managed with RevenueCat)
• Send push notifications for renewals, confirmations, and important updates
• Improve performance and fix issues

4. Sign In with Google & Apple

We do not store your Google or Apple passwords. We only receive the minimum information those services provide (typically name and email) to identify your account.

If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, Apple may give us a private relay address. You can revoke access anytime in your device Apple ID settings.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not collect or store your card details or store account passwords.

Subscription lifecycle is managed with RevenueCat and the respective store. You can manage or cancel from your device's subscription settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

Business data is stored on Google Firebase Firestore. Preferences may be stored locally on your device. Data is sent over HTTPS/TLS and isolated per account. We use Firebase App Check to help protect our backend.

7. Device Permissions

Requested only when needed:

• Contacts – Pick workers from phonebook (not stored on our servers)
• Photos / Camera – Worker or profile photos
• Face ID / Touch ID – App Lock (biometrics never leave your device)
• Notifications – Updates and reminders

You can revoke permissions in device Settings.

8. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can turn notifications off in device Settings → Notifications → HajriBook.

9. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, FCM, App Check, Analytics)
• Google Sign-In
• Sign in with Apple
• RevenueCat
• Apple App Store / Google Play

Their privacy policies also apply.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With providers needed to run the app (e.g. Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple/Google)
• When required by law in India
• To protect HajriBook, our users, or the public

11. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After account deletion, we delete associated personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

12. Your Rights

• Access and correct your data in the app
• Delete your account from Settings
• Export reports as PDF
• Opt out of notifications

13. Children's Privacy

HajriBook is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

14. Changes

We may update this policy and will update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

15. Governing Law

Laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Disputes are subject to courts in India.
